Barbie's big break happened when she landed a gig for the brand Aerie, the unretouched pics going viral and inspiring girls around the world.  The 19 year old quickly became a social media powerhouse, with over 250k instagram followers (one of those being me) and 68k twitter followers(yay for the power of social media!)
